NBC has tied for #2 among the Big 4 networks in primetime results for the week of April 1-7 in adults 18-49, finishing behind only CBS, which was boosted by high-rated Saturday coverage of NCAA BASKETBALL Tournament, according to "live plus same day" viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.

Excluding sports, Tuesday's "This Is Us" season finale was the week's #2 telecast in adults 18-49, Monday's "Voice" tied for #4, Tuesday's "Ellen's Game of Games" tied for #9, Wednesday's "Chicago Fire" tied for #11 and Wednesday's "Chicago Med" and "P.D." tied for #17.

In addition to tying for #2 for the week in adults 18-49, NBC ranked #2 outright in adults 25-54 and #2 or tied for #2 in adults and women 18-34, men and women 18-49 and men and women 25-54.

Season to date, NBC ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, adults 18-34 (tie) and all key adult-female demographics. In total viewers, excluding sports, NBC is running within 1.472 million persons of #1 CBS, tied with last year for NBC's closest position to #1 in total viewers at this point in the season, excluding sports, in 16 years, since trailing by 782,000 persons at this time in 2002-03.

Weekly ratings are "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date ratings are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

NBC highlights for the week of April 1-7:

Monday

NBC wins Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and every other key measure (including ties in adults 18-34 and men 18-34), taking six of six half-hours among those nets in adults 18-49.

"The Voice" (1.5 rating in 18-49, 8.5 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and most other key categories, winning the time period by a +36% margin over "American Idol" and Fox's dramas in 18-49 (1.5 vs. 1.1) and by +2.3 million persons or +37% in total viewers (8.5 million vs. 6.2 million for "Idol").

"Live Plus Seven Day Plus Digital": This cycle's six "Blind Audition" episodes averaged a 3.23 L+7+digital rating, for a +10% increase over the 2.93 average for the fall cycle's Blind Auditions. It's the first time on record (dating back to the 2014-15 season for L+7+digital) that Blind Auditions for the spring cycle have topped the fall cycle. Each of the six Blind Audition episodes this spring rank among "The Voice's" top six seven-day digital deliveries on record. The "Voice 16" Blind Audition telecasts grew from a 1.96 in L+SD to a 3.23 in L+7+digital (+65%).

"Live Plus 35 Day Plus Digital" Ratings: Monday's "The Voice" has grown by +62% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.78 to a 2.89).

"The Enemy Within" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won the hour versus ABC's "The Fix" and CBS' "Bull" in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 25-54; and adults and women 18-34, delivering a +33% margin of victory among those nets in adults 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.6 for "Bull"). "Enemy" maintained a steady 0.8 rating in 18-49 for a third straight week. L+7: "Enemy Within" has grown by +68% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 0.95 to a 1.60) and more than +3.1 million viewers overall (5.1 million to 8.2 million).

Tuesday

"Ellen's Game of Games" (1.2 rating in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) scored as the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 behind only "This Is Us," winning the 8-9 p.m. hour ahead of "NCIS." The April 2 "Ellen's" grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including a gain of +18% in adults 18-49 (1.1 to 1.3) and delivered a steady 1.2 in 18-49 for a fourth week in a row.L+35+Digital: "Game of Games" is growing by +50% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.46 to a 2.19).

The season finale of "This Is Us" (1.9 rating in 18-49, 8.2 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) scored the show's highest 18-49 rating since Jan. 22 (2.0) and delivered its most-watched episode since that same date (8.229 million). It was the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and most other key demographics and won the 8-9 p.m. timeslot in every key demo, including a +111% margin of victory in adults 18-49 (1.9 vs. 0.9 for CBS' #2 "FBI"). "TIU" was up +12% week to week in 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.7) and +8% in total viewers (8.2 million vs. 7.6 million).L+7: "This Is Us" is increasing by +88% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.04 to a 3.83) and +5.5 million viewers overall (8.4 million to 13.9 million) going from L+SD to L+7. The gain of +1.79 rating points in 18-49 is the #1 strongest average L+7 lift on television this season and the increase of +5.487 million viewers is television's #3 biggest L+7 gain. L+35+Digital: "This Is Us" has grown by +241% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 2.04 to a 6.97).

"The Village" (0.7 rating in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) retained 100% of the prior week's 18-49 rating (0.7 vs. 0.7) and grew +3% week to week in total viewers (4.2 million vs. 4.0 million). "Village" tied for #1 in the timeslot among the ABC, CBS and NBC dramas in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 25-54 and was #1 outright among those dramas in women 18-49. L+3: The prior week's "The Village" grew by +43% in 18-49 going from L+SD Nielsens to L+3 (0.7 to 1.0 and +2.1 million persons in total viewers (4.4 million to 6.5 million).

Wednesday

NBC won the night in total viewers and adults 25-54 and tied for #1 in adults 18-49, with "Chicago Fire" and "Chicago Med" scoring as the #1-2 shows of the night in total viewers. NBC's Wednesday schedule of "Chicago" dramas has ranked as the #1 regular lineup in total viewers on 17 of the 18 Wednesdays it's aired so far this season.

"Chicago Med" (1.0 rating in 18-49, 7.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked as the #2 most-watched show of the night on the Big 4 networks, behind only "Chicago Fire," and won the 8 p.m. hour in total viewers over such competition as "Survivor" and "Empire." L+35+Digital: "Med" is growing by +114% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.25 to a 2.67).

"Chicago Fire" (1.1 rating in 18-49, 8.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) ranked as the #1 show of the night on the Big 4 networks in total viewers and won the 9 p.m. hour in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and total viewers. In total viewers, "Fire" more than doubled the timeslot's #2 network (8.2 million persons vs. 3.7 million for ABC's comedies), leading by +4.5 million persons or +121%. L+35+Digital: "Fire" is increasing by +133% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.25 to a 2.91).

"Chicago P.D." (1.0 rating in 18-49, 6.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won the timeslot in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and every other key measure, taking the hour by a +67% margin in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.6 each for "SEAL Team" and "Whiskey Cavalier") and topping the combined audience of the ABC-CBS drama competition in total viewers (6.9 million persons vs. a combined 6.8 million for "SEAL Team" and "Whiskey Cavalier"). L+35+Digital: "P.D." has grown by +159% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 1.14 to a 2.95).

Thursday

"Superstore" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET), facing original competition from "The Big Bang Theory" for the first time in four weeks, retained 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8). L+35+Digital: "Superstore" generates 43% of its L+35+digital 18-49 rating from nonlinear sources, tied for the #2 biggest percentage on the NBC schedule, behind only "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

"A.P. Bio" (0.5 rating in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET), facing original competition from "Young Sheldon" for the first time in four weeks, maintained 100% week to week in 18-49, delivering a steady 0.5 in 18-49 for a fifth consecutive telecast. L+7+Digital: "A.P. Bio" generates 36% of its L+7+digital 18-49 rating from nonlinear sources, tied for the #3 biggest percentage on the NBC schedule, behind only "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" and "Superstore."

The season finale of "Will & Grace" (0.7 rating in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) maintained 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.7) to equal the show's high since Feb. 7 (0.8). "Will & Grace" built on its lead-in by +40% in adults 18-49. L+35+Digital: "Will & Grace" has increased by +221% in the 18-49 demo going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 0.75 to a 2.41).

"Abby's" (0.5 rating in 18-49, 2.1 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) retained 100% of the prior week's series premiere in 18-49 (0.5 vs. 0.5) to make "Abby's" the first new comedy introduced this season by the Big 4 networks to maintain 100% of its 18-49 rating from Week 1 to Week 2. "Abby's" also generated Week 2 increases in men 18-49 and men 18-34. L+3+Digital: The prior week's "Abby's" premiere grew by +90% after three days in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3+digital results (from a 0.52 to 0.99).

"Law & Order: SVU" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) ranked #1 in the timeslot among the ABC, CBS and NBC dramas in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (tie), retaining 100% of the show's prior original two weeks ago in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.8 on March 21) and 25-54 (1.1 vs. 1.1). L+35+Digital: "SVU" is growing by +265% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+35+Digital (from a 0.88 to a 3.21).

Friday

"Blindspot" (0.4 rating in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) retained 100% of the show's prior 18-49 rating of two weeks earlier(0.4 vs. 0.4 on March 22).

"The Blacklist" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 3.9 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) maintained 100% week to week in 18-49 (0.5 vs. 0.5). L+7: In the first quarter of 2019, "The Blacklist" has averaged a 0.56 rating in 18-49 through 10 telecasts in L+SD and a 1.23 in L+7, for a lift of +121%. Among total viewers, THE BLACKLIST grew +88% in L+7 (3.849 million to 7.226 million). Among shows launched during midseason, "The Blacklist" ranked #1 on the Big 4 networks in terms of the biggest L+3 and L+7 percentage lifts in 18-49 through the first quarter. In total viewers, "Blacklist" generated the top L+3 percentage lift for a midseason show and was tied for the #1 L+7 lift (with Fox's "The Orville").

"Dateline NBC" (0.5 rating in 18-49, 0.8 in adults 25-54, 3.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) equaled the show's high for a Friday edition since March 8 in adults 18-49 (0.6) and matched its high since Jan. 18 in adults 25-54 (1.0), increasing by +0.1 of a point or +25% week to week in 18-49 (0.5 vs. 0.4), +14% in 25-54(0.8 vs. 0.7) and +1% in total viewers (3.238 million vs. 3.197 million).

Sunday

"World of Dance" (0.7 rating in 18-49, 3.2 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET), despite this week's special competition from CBS coverage of the ACM Awards, maintained 100% week to week in both 18-49 (0.7 vs. 0.7) and total viewers (3.240 million vs. 3.241 million).

"Good Girls" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 2.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET), despite this week's special competition from CBS coverage of the ACM Awards, maintained 100% of last week's 0.6 in 18-49 and was up +11% in total viewers versus last week's 2.2 million, equaling the show's highest 18-49 rating since its season premiere on March 3 (0.7).
