RATINGS: CHICAGO MED and CHICAGO FIRE are Top Two Most Watched Dramas During Feb. 4-10

RATINGS: CHICAGO MED and CHICAGO FIRE are Top Two Most Watched Dramas During Feb. 4-10  Image

Led by "Chicago Med" and "Chicago Fire," the #1 and #2 most-watched dramas of the week, NBC has finished in second place among the Big 4 networks in primetime ratings results for the week of Feb. 4-10 in total viewers behind only Grammy-boosted CBS, according to "live plus same day" viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.

For the week, NBC placed six shows among the top 15 programs on the Big 4 networks in total viewers - "America's Got Talent: The Champions" (#4), "Chicago Med" (#5 show, #1 drama), "Chicago Fire" (#6 show, #2 drama), "Chicago P.D." (#9 show, #4 drama), NBC News analysis of Tuesday's STATE OF THE UNION speech (#13) and "Ellen's Game of Games" (#15).

Season to date, NBC ranks #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and FOX in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 (tie) and all key adult-female demographics. In total viewers, excluding sports, NBC is running within 1.459 million persons of #1 CBS, NBC's closest position to #1 in total viewers at this point in the season, excluding sports, in 16 years, since trailing by 561,000 persons at this time in 2002-03.

Weekly ratings are "live plus same day" figures from Nielsen Media Research unless otherwise noted. Season-to-date ratings are averages of "live plus seven day" data except for the two most recent weeks, which are "live plus same day."

NBC highlights for the week of Feb. 4-10:

Monday

NBC won the night in total viewers and adults 25-54.

"America's Got Talent: The Champions" (1.6 rating in 18-49, 9.8 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET) finished as the #1 show of the night in adults 25-54 and total viewers, while maintaining +100% versus NBC's season average in the timeslot prior to "AGT: The Champions" in 18-49 (1.6 vs. 1.6, L+SD) and growing by +1.2 million persons or +14% in total viewers (9.8 million vs. 8.6 million).

"Live Plus Seven Day" Ratings: "AGT: The Champions" has grown by +36% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.69 to a 2.30) and +2.4 million viewers overall (9.9 million to 12.3 million). When projected seven-day non-linear viewing is included, the "Champions" 18-49 rating increases to a 2.56.

"Manifest" (0.9 rating in 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) finished within 0.1 of the timeslot lead in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 1.0 for ABC's "The Good Doctor") and tied for #1 in adults 25-54. L+7: "Manifest" has increased by +123% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.33 to a 2.96) and +6.4 million viewers overall (6.8 million to 13.2 million). The gain of +1.63 rating points in 18-49 is the #2 biggest L+7 lift on television this season (behind only "This Is Us") and the increase of +6.413 million viewers is television's #1 biggest L+7 gain. When projected seven-day non-linear viewing is included, the "Manifest" 18-49 rating grows to a 3.91, a +194% increase on the show's 1.33 L+SD figure.

Tuesday

NBC ranked #1 for the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and every other key demographic.

"Ellen's Game of Games" (1.4 rating in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) finished as the #1 entertainment show of the night in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and all other key categories, winning the 8-9 p.m. timeslot by a +75% margin in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 0.8 each for ABC, CBS and Fox). L+7: "Ellen's Game of Games" has increased by +19% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.59 to a 1.90) and +988,000 viewers overall (6.8 million to 7.8 million). With the addition of projected seven-day non-linear ratings, the "Games" rating grows to a 2.13 in 18-49.

Coverage of the STATE OF THE UNION Address and Democratic Response was sustaining and is not included in nightly or weekly networks averages.

NBC News analysis of the STATE OF THE UNION Address averaged a 1.4 in adults 18-49, a 2.0 in adults 25-54 and 6.5 million viewers overall from 10:30-10:37 p.m. ET, to rank #1 among the broadcast networks in all three measures.

Wednesday

NBC won the night in total viewers with the #1-2-3 shows of the night, and ranked #2 in 18-49 with the #2-3-4 shows of the night. NBC's Wednesday schedule of "Chicago" dramas has ranked as the #1 regular lineup in total viewers on 13 of the 13 Wednesdays it's aired so far this season.

"Chicago Med" (1.4 rating in 18-49, 9.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) finished as the #1 most-watched show of the night on the Big 4 networks and is the #2 show in 18-49, behind only Fox's "The Masked Singer," hitting a new season high in 18-49 with its best rating since Tuesday, March 6, 2018 (1.4 at 10 p.m.). "Med" won the 8-9 p.m. timeslot among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, topping CBS' 8-9 p.m. portion of "World's Best" by a +27% margin in 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.1 from 8-9 p.m.) and by +55% or more than +3.3 million persons in total viewers (9.4 million vs. 6.0 million). L+7: "Med" is increasing by +59% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.24 to a 1.97) and +3.1 million viewers overall (8.2 million to 11.3 million). When projected seven-day non-linear viewing is included, the "Med" 18-49 rating grows to a 2.33, a +88% gain versus the show's 1.24 L+SD rating.

"Chicago Fire" (1.3 rating in 18-49, 8.8 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) grows for a fifth consecutive original telecast in total viewers (from 7.290 million on Nov. 14 to 7.939 million on Dec. 5 to 8.010 million on Jan. 9 to 8.027 million on Jan. 16 to 8.426 million on Jan. 23 to 8.794 million on Feb. 6), making this the show's most-watched non-crossover episode since Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015 at 10 p.m. (9.1 million). In total viewers, the Feb. 6 "Fire" beat "The Masked Singer" and "World's Best" for the timeslot victory, delivering a winning margin of +1.7 million persons or +23% (8.8 million vs. 7.1 million) over "Masked Singer." Versus the 9-10 p.m. segment of "World's Best," "Fire" prevailed by a +30% margin in 18-49 (1.3 vs. 1.0 from 9-10 p.m.) and +74% or +3.7 million persons in total viewers (8.8 million vs. 5.1million) versus the 9-10 p.m. segment of "World's Best." In 18-49 it was the highest "Fire" rating since Nov. 14 (1.3). L+7: "Fire" is growing by +71% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.26 to a 2.15) and more than +3.6 million viewers overall (8.0 million to 11.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7. With the addition of projected seven-day non-linear ratings, the "Fire" figure increases to a 2.53 in 18-49, a +101% gain over the series' 1.26 rating in L+SD.

"Chicago P.D." (1.2 rating in 18-49, 7.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) matched the show's 18-49 high since March 21, 2018 (1.3) and delivered its most-watched episode, excluding crossovers, since Feb. 17, 2016, 7.5 million). "P.D." won the timeslot among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 25-54, total viewers and all other key measures, leading by a +50% margin in adults 18-49 (1.2 vs. 0.8 for CBS' "Criminal Minds"). L+7: "Chicago P.D." is increasing by +92% in 18-49 rating this season going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.11 to a 2.13) and more than +4.0 million viewers overall (7.0 million to 11.0 million). With the addition of projected seven-day non-linear ratings, the "P.D." figure grows to a 2.49, a +124% gain versus the show's 1.11 in L+SD.

Thursday

"The Titan Games" (0.9 rating in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is up +13% versus NBC's average in the Thursday, 8-9 p.m. timeslot this season prior to "Titan Games" in 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.8, L+SD non-sports) and up by +1.3 million persons or +46% in total viewers (4.1 million vs. 2.8 million). L+7: "Titan Games" has grown by +29% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 1.52 to a 1.96).

"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (0.9 rating in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET) grew +13% week to week in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.8) and +12% in total viewers (3.0 million vs. 2.7 million) to equal the show's second-best 18-49 rating in more than two years (since Sun., Jan. 1, 2017 at 8:30 on Fox, 1.3), trailing over that span only its Jan. 10, 2019 NBC debut (1.2) and capture its second-best total-viewer result over that same span (since Jan. 1, 2017, 3.5 million viewers), trailing over that period only the Jan. 10 NBC premiere (3.537 million). The Feb. 7 up +29% versus what the show averaged last season in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.7) and up +1.3 million persons or +73% in total viewers (3.0 million vs. 1.8 million). L+7: After seven days of linear and projected non-linear viewing, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" this season is averaging a 2.65 rating in 18-49.

"Will & Grace" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET) equaled the show's best 18-49 rating since Oct. 18, 2018 (0.9), while also growing by +14% versus NBC's slot average before "Will & Grace" moved to the time period Jan. 31 in 18-49 (0.8 vs. 0.7, L+SD non-sports) and by +8% in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 2.8 million). "W&G" built on its lead-in in total viewers (3.1 million vs. 3.0 milllion). L+7: "Will & Grace" has grown by +101% in 18-49 rating this season going from L+SD to L+7 (0.80 to a 1.61) and more than +2.4 million viewers overall (3.2 million to 5.7 million). With the addition of projected seven-day non-linear ratings, the "Will & Grace" 18-49 average increases to a 1.95, a +144% gain versus the show's L+SD 0.80.

"Law & Order: SVU" (0.8 rating in 18-49, 4.1 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) tied for #1 in the hour among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in adults 18-49, women 18-49 and women 25-54 and took the timeslot outright in women 18-34. L+7: "SVU" has grown by +111% this season in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (from a 0.92 to a 1.94) and more than +3.2 million viewers overall (4.3 million to 7.6 million). When projected seven-day non-linear viewing is included, the "SVU" 18-49 rating increases to a 2.53, a +175% gain versus the show's L+SD 0.92.

Friday

"Blindspot" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) hit a season high in total viewers, with its most-watched episode since Jan. 26, 2018 (3.8 million), growing +23% week to week in total viewers (3.5 million vs. 2.8 million). In 18-49, "Blindspot" equalled its season high, matching its best rating since March 2, 2018.

"The Blacklist" (0.6 rating in 18-49, 4.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) captured a season high in total viewers and matched the show's season high for aFriday telecast in adults 18-49, increasing by 0.1 of a point or +20% week to week in 18-49 (0.6 vs. 0.5) and +15% in total viewers (4.243 million vs. 3.678 million).L+7: "Blacklist" is growing by +107% in 18-49 rating this season going from L+SD to L+7 (0.58 to a 1.20) and more than +3.2 million viewers overall (3.9 million to 7.1 million). When projected seven-day non-linear viewing is included, the "Blacklist" 18-49 rating increases to a 1.31.
