Producer And Director Julliet Pan Signs Production Deal With Los Angeles Beijing Studios  ImageWriter, director and producer Julliet Pan, with her newly formed company SHE & JUL Media U.S., has signed a production and distribution deal with Los Angeles Beijing Studios (LABS). They will distribute Pan's upcoming series "Steamy Kitchen" which she created and stars in. The six episode series is a lifestyle cooking show which explores the experience of cooking as it intertwines with a woman's career and creativity. Each episode features guests ranging from professional chefs to fashion designers, TV hosts and actresses. She is also working with LABS to develop a sci-fi comedy series titled "The Zone."

Understanding the nuances between the American and Chinese cultures, Pan is now focused on her career in Los Angeles. Pan states "I am very excited to work with LABS, a company that truly embodies bi-continental art and culture in Film and TV. I envision a strong creative collaboration."

LABS COO and China - US distribution veteran, Steve Chicorel, commented, "Bridging China and US cultures is what we do so having Julliet and her experience across both cultures, leading the creative, I'm sure will result in the sort of international and ethnic diversity that is needed in today's programming and refreshing for US audiences."

Pan also produced, wrote and directed "The Lane," a dramedy TV show about five expats living together in an old lane house in the middle of the local townspeople. The show was the first of its kind in China and Pan is currently working on a U.S. version of the show.

Born in Shanghai, Pan studied at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Film & TV Department. After graduation, she returned to China and established herself as a prolific producer of content. In 2006, Pan founded SHE & JUL FILMS, a leading Chinese media company based in Shanghai. Her other projects include the award-winning "The Amazing Race: China Rush" on which she was a producer and chief editor. She also wrote, produced and directed the short film "Butterfly Reflection" which was showcased at Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival. Pan served as producer of the reality series "Style Trip Milan" and "Style Trip Barcelona" which aired to huge ratings on Shanghai Media Group TV channel.
