Driven by this year's U.S. Presidential Election and the Presidential debates, FiveThirtyEight continues to break new records across all metrics: According to comScore, the month of September was the highest in engagement, with readers spending a record of more than 94 million minutes on the site.
From July to September, FiveThirtyEight has more than tripled (216 percent) its audience of daily unique visitors year over year. Additionally, last month the site attracted 8.7 million unique visitors.
Per Adobe internal metrics, FiveThirtyEight's comprehensive coverage of the Presidential Debates also set records. Not only did the three debates result in some of the best days in terms of uniques and visitors, but the site set records on the days after each debates as well. In October to date, FiveThirtyEight represents a daily average of 11 percent of all unique visitors across
ESPN web properties.
FiveThirtyEight's Election Forecast remains the most popular piece of individual content across all of ESPN's web properties, with 3 million users engaging with the page for an average of 20.5 million minutes per week, according to Adobe internal metrics.
