President Obama to Make First Guest Appearance on JIMMY FALLON, 4/24

President Barack Obama will make his first appearance on NBC's LATE NIGHT WITH Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday, April 24 (12:35 a.m. ET). The special broadcast will be taped from the campus of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on Tuesday to air that same night.

Dave Matthews is set to perform as the April 24th musical guest. Fallon will also bring along his acclaimed house band The Roots.

Named one of the 10 shows in 2010 that "helped make television worth watching" by the Los Angeles Times, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" has become the go-to destination for comedy, music and A-list talent. Comedian Jimmy Fallon brings a fun new energy to the NBC comedy-talk franchise with his personalized interview style, love of audience participation, spot-on impersonations and innovative sketches. The show consistently garners attention for viral videos, audience games and prominent guests such as Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCartney, Gwyneth Paltrow and Justin Timberlake. Fallon's choice of house band, The Roots, has been universally praised.
