Pop Inspirational singer Tarralyn Ramsey proudly announces the performance of her forthcoming single, "Champion", at the upcoming BET Experience showcase in Los Angeles on June 28. After blowing the roof off at New York City's SOBs for the Sol Village showcase , Tarralyn was handpicked by BET executives to share the night with the likes of Lecrae, Andy Mineo and more. Ramsey will be performing her self-produced upcoming single "Champion" among other hits for an unforgettable night of powerhouse vocals.
At thirteen years old Tarralyn Ramsey was signed by Verity Records - one of the most sought after gospel record companies in the business. While being signed to Verity, she worked with some of gospel music's finest, such as Fred Hammond, Yolanda Adams, Della Reese of Touched by an Angel, NBA star and Jazz musician Wayman Tisdale and many more. She has performed for many events as well as nationally and internationally known ministers such as Bishop TD Jakes, Pastor Carlton Pierson, Bishop Noel Jones and many others. She released her self-titled album in 2000 spawning the breakout hits "Tell It" and "Unconditional Love" which led to several stellar award nominations.
Winning VH1's "Born to Diva" in 2003, she signed with Casablanca/Universal records under former Sony Music executive Tommy Mottola. This venture afforded Tarralyn many mainstream opportunities which included performing at the MGM Grand, sharing the stage with such great artists as Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Pat Benetar, Lisa Marie Presley, Stevie Wonder and Ashanti. Tarralyn toured with Mary J. Blige on her "No More Drama Tour" and Seventeen Magazine, Pantene's "Total You" tour, "The BET College Tour" and many others.
The journey, tenacity and endurance of this woman to keep pushing for her dreams despite how many times she got knocked down will inspire us all to always "Believe".
