In honor of the globally recognized Food Revolution Day, May 20th, Participant Media's television network, Pivot, will air JAMIE OLIVER'S FOOD REVOLUTION. Airing on Saturday, May 14th and Sunday, May 15th, the first season of the Emmy Award®-winning series will begin at 4:00pm ET.
The series follows renowned Chef Jamie Oliver as he attempts to reform the U.S. school lunch programs, help American society fight obesity and change their eating habits in order to live healthier and longer lives. The Food Revolution is a global campaign started by Jamie which this year raises awareness of the global child nutrition crisis. He passionately believes that access to good, fresh, nutritious food is every child's human right, but currently we're failing our children.
Millions of kids are eating too much of the wrong food, while millions more don't get enough of the good stuff to let them grow and thrive. We need to unite as one strong, single voice to force governments and businesses to create a healthier, happier world for the future. To learn how to get involved and sign up to the revolution, visit
