Photo Flash: Universal Renames JURASSIC PARK 4 as JURASSIC WORLD; Sets Release for June 12, 2015

Universal Pictures has confirmed via Twitter that JURASSIC PARK 4 is now scheduled for June 12, 2015 release, and with a new name -- JURASSIC WORLD. Check out the new logo below!

As BWW previously reported, the film will be shot in 3D. Colin Trevorrow will direct the fourth installment of the popular franchise from a script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver.

Steven Spielberg will introduce the three-time Academy Award-winning blockbuster to a new generation of moviegoers and allow longtime fans to experience the world he envisioned in a way that was unimaginable during the film's original release.

Starring Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum, Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough, the film is based on the novel by Michael Crichton and is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen.
