Craig Ferguson shares his native country with viewers today, May 14 through Friday, May 18 with special episodes titled THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON in SCOTLAND (12:37-1:37 AM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
"This whole trip to Scotland, I can't tell you how lovely it is. How great the people are, how beautiful the towns are. I'm shocked... my memory is completely wrong!" Craig Ferguson said to guest Rashida Jones while filming in Arbroath Harbour.
Joined by actors Mila Kunis, Michael Clarke Duncan and Rashida Jones, renowned author David Sedaris and "Flying Wild Alaska" star Ariel Tweto, Ferguson explores Edinburgh, Glasgow, Ferguson's hometown of Cumbernauld and the historic city of Arbroath. Along the way, he visits Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, Calton Hill, Glamis Castle and Kelvingrove Art Gallery, as well as Ferguson's childhood home and high school, among other locations.
THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON in SCOTLAND will feature a concert series with local Glasgow rock band The Imagineers from the Tron Theater. The Imagineers will also perform their own rendition of the THE LATE LATE SHOW theme song during these episodes.
THE LATE LATE SHOW continues to be the only late night talk show to travel internationally. This marks the second international trip for the show, following LE LATE LATE SHOW AVEC CRAIG FERGUSON which filmed in Paris and aired in August 2011.
THE LATE LATE SHOW with CRAIG FERGUSON in SCOTLAND is executive produced by Peter Lassally, produced by Michael Naidus and is a co-production between Worldwide Pants and STV. STV is Scotland's most popular peak time TV station, and reaches over 4 million viewers each month.
