In addition to spending time with each department, the teens had the opportunity to attend a live performance by Ne-Yo at Fuse Studios, as well as conduct an interview with rapper Meek Mill. Participants also sat down with Yasmine Richard, host of Fuse's Top 20 Countdown and Trending 10, and learned about life in front of the camera. The semester culminated with the students creating their own original program which was screened at the wrap party. In addition to the video unveiling, students also received individual plaques and certificates of completion at the wrap party, presented to them by Yasmine.
Fuse, in partnership with Garden of Dreams, collaborated to create "Fuse Rocks the Classroom," a program that introduces high school students to the music television industry. Launched in January, 2009, "Fuse Rocks the Classroom" provides teens with a unique opportunity to meet Fuse executives and staff, learn about their roles at the network and the skills necessary to pursue a career in music television.
