In advance of the 2017 premiere of his new HBO comedy series Crashing, Pete Holmes stars in his first HBO stand-up comedy special, PETE HOLMES: FACES AND SOUNDS, taped earlier this year in front of a live audience at The Vic Theatre in Chicago. Named one of the 10 Best Stand-up Comedy Specials of 2016 by Vulture, Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds will be available for digital download January 9, 2017.
Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds features Holmes' playful but razor-sharp commentary on the absurdity of society, as the comedian combines his infectious enthusiasm with his ability to find humor in the most mundane aspects of everyday life. Over the course of one hysterical and entertaining hour, Pete Holmes shares his thoughts on such disparate topics as: the keys to happiness; the illogicality of nightmares; being an "easy laugh"; what to wear on a flight; bizarre quirks of language; filling one's "joy quota"; and more.
Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds is directed by Marcus Raboy, who has directed comedy specials for
HANNIBAL Buress, Chris Hardwick, Kumail Nanjiani and Katt Williams.
Be sure to tell your readers to check out Pete Holmes: Faces and Sounds on January 9! Let us know if you'd like a download code to review the season.
