Paul Rudd and Zach Galifianakis Reunite for 'Will'

Broadway vet Paul Rudd will be teaming up with Zach Galifianakis yet again for the upcoming comedy flick "Will."

In "Will," Rudd plays a man whose life path is determined by a scribe in Heaven (Galifianakis). Rudd's character awakens one day to find that he has been abandoned by his writer and struggles to live by his own rules. 

The script is penned by Demetri Martin.  The film will be directed by Little Miss Sunshine's Valerie Faris and Jonathan Dayton.

Rudd and Galifianakis's first joint effort is the upcoming "Dinner for Schmucks," a comedy for Paramount, Dreamworks, and Spyglass films alongside Bruce Greenwood, David Walliams and Steve Carell.

"Dinner for Schmucks", directed by Jay Roach centers on a Swiss banker (Walliams) that Tim Conrad (Rudd) and his Fender Financial cohorts attempt to impress as a potential investor. Greenwood plays the role of the billionaire investor, Fender.

Paul Rudd most recently starred on Broadway in Three Days of Rain in 2006. Additional Broadway credits include: Twelfth Night and The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Other theatre credits include Bash (Douglas Fairbanks Theater, NY/Canon Theater, L.A.), The Shape of Things (Promenade Theatre, NY/Almeida Theatre, London), Long Day's Journey Into Night (Lyric Theatre, London) and Ancestral Voices (George Street Playhouse/Westport Country Playhouse). He has appeared on television in include Friends, A&E's The Great Gatsby and in films such as The 40 Year Old Virgin, Anchorman,The Shape of Things, The Chateau, Wet Hot American Summer, The Cider House Rules, The Object of My Affection, Romeo + Juliet, Clueless, I Could Never Be Your Woman, Wanderlust,

Zach Galifianakis is a comedian and actor known for numerous film and television appearances including his own Comedy Central Presents special. He is known for his unconventional stand-up style, that features the reading of one-liners while playing a piano during his performances. While initially more of an "underground" and lesser-known comedian, he garnered considerable mainstream attention with his breakthrough role in the successful 2009 comedy The Hangover, as his character of Alan. He has appeared on Dog Man Bites, The Sarah Silverman Program, Reno 911! amd more. More recently, Galifianakis performed on a tour called the "Comedians of Comedy" with Brian Posehn, Patton Oswalt, and Maria Bamford.
