Breaking Glass Pictures and QC Cinema are proud to announce today's December 3rd DVD release of Leather, the latest film from director Patrick McGuinn (Eulogy for a Vampire, Sun Kissed). Following a world premiere to audience acclaim at Philadelphia QFest, Leather was screened at Cinema Diverse, the Palm Springs Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and will finally be available nationwide to own or rent on VOD.

Filmed in the visual style of the 1970s, Leather is the contemporary story of a young man, Birch (Chris Graham), who lives in the Catskill Mountains. He stays in a small cottage in a remote region with Walter, an older man and mentor who has a strained relationship with his gay son, Andrew (Andrew Glaszek). Birch and Walter have a friendship that involves carpentry, fishing, hunting and making items from leather.

After Walter dies, Andrew returns to his childhood home with his city boyfriend Kyle (Jeremy Neal) to assess Walter's estate. The long-forgotten friend from Andrew's boyhood, Birch captivates Andrew and Kyle, bringing back old feelings and complicating their relationship.

The DVD release (SRP $24.99) of Leather will exclusively includedeleted scenes, outtakes, screen tests with the cast and a featurette on Making Leather Sandals.
