PRIVATE PRACTICE's Kate Walsh is set to create a semi-autobiographical comedy for NBC, with boyfriend/writer Chris Case. No title has been declared at this time.

Walsh announced this year she would be leaving Shonda Rhimes' PRIVATE PRACTICE after six seasons as beloved Dr. Addison Forbes-Montgomery in the GREY'S ANATOMY universe.

The comedy is partially based on Walsh and Case's relationship, centered on a divorced man with two young boys, who falls in love with a female cop - with little to no experience with kids.

As of now, there are no definite plans for Walsh to star.
