Amanda Idoko is adapting Plastic Man, for an upcoming Warner Bros./DC feature, according to Deadline. The film does not have a director attached as of yet, and it's currently notgreenlit.

Plastic Man was a member of the Justice League and had a Saturday morning TV series that ran from 1979 to 1981. Plastic Man is Patrick "Eel" O'Brian, who was originally a crook. When a heist goes sideways, he is drenched with chemicals, and when he awakes learns he has the power to stretch and form is body like rubber. He then begins fighting crime. Jack Cole created Plastic Man in 1941 and DC absorbed the brand in 1956.

Bob Shaye, the former executive at New Line, is an executive producer on the film.

Idoko has worked on the ABC comedy series The Mayor as well as the upcoming movie Breaking News in Yuba County, which stars Allison Janney and Laura Dern.
