At NBC's upfront event held yesterday afternoon at New York's Radio City Music Hall, TONIGHT SHOW host Jimmy Fallon channeled Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony nominated performance in Broadway's HAMILTON to entertain potential network advertisers.
Wearing full HAMILTON regalia, (see photo at left), the SNL alum sang and rapped his own version of some of the musical's most popular numbers, including the line "Silence! I have a message from the king - [CEO of NBCUniversal] Steve Burke!"
He went on to sing,
'You say the price of my ads aren't the price that you're willing to pay.
You cry when I show you the clips of the shows that we're going to try.
Don't be sad. We've still got THE VOICE and this year the Olympics are back.
You should be glad, as least we're not rebooting Heroes and renewing The Slap'."
Wish we all could have been in THE ROOM where it happened!
