In this special webisode, "Doof is Due! Shark Tank Announcement," Dr. Doofenshmirtz returns to his host desk to discuss his latest money making scheme -- a visit with the Sharks of ABC's "Shark Tank." In an attempt to get investor's for his latest "inator" invention, Doof creatively lands a coveted spot on ABC'S hit reality series.

"I had a lovely Twitter chat with the Sharks - and after being rejected several times - I did what any reasonable mad scientist with a brilliant idea would do: I hacked their Facebook page and blackmailed them to let me on the show," shared Dr. Doofenshmirtz.

Doof's tweets to the Sharks included:

@MCuban, we have a lot in common. We both have serious chins. You're 206 on Forbes 400, I'm 206 in platypus years. And we're both evil. Have me on Shark Tank!

@kevinolearytv, So Kevin, how about pulling some strings to help a fellow evil genius get onto @ABCSharkTank? I'm offering 5% of the Tri-State area for a 1 billion dollar investment.

@BarbaraCorcoran, so would this B a bad time 2 ask 4 real estate advice on taking over the tri-state area? Come on, let me on @ABCSharkTank!

@robertherjavec, So you know all about technology? So do I! I'm an evil scientist. Tell the producers at @ABCSHarkTank to let me on the show!

Yes! Going to be on Shark Tank tomorrow! Emailing @TheSharkDaymond my rider. It's basically just a bunch of platypus traps & almond brittle.

New episodes of "Doof's Daily Dirt" will premiere this Summer.

"Our team is having a great time with 'Doof's Daily Dirt' so we're thrilled to have it extended," said Lauren DeVillier, Vice president of digital media at Disney Channels Worldwide. "We can't wait for even more of Doof's distinctive commentary and completely unexpected insights."

Dr. Doofenshmirtz is voiced by Phineas & Ferb co-creator Dan Povenmire. The show airs Friday nights on Disney Channel, and also stars Vincent Martella as Phineas Flynn, Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Ferb Fletcher, Ashley Tisdale as Candace Flynn, Mitchel Musso as Jeremy, Caroline Rhea as mom Linda Flynn-Fletcher, Richard O'Brien as dad Lawrence Fletcher, Dee Bradley Baker as Perry the Platypus, Alyson Stoner as Isabella and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh as Major Monogram. "Phineas and Ferb" is a production of Disney Television Animation.
