Sunday night's episode ranked as the #2 most mentioned program online among all cable television programs, the highest ranking the series has received according to social media index, Trendrr.

Sunday's episode, titled "Dance Ability," featured guest mentor Harry Shum, Jr. ("Glee's" Mike Chang) who coached the nine remaining contenders on their moves. Paducah, KY's McKynleigh Abraham (19) was eliminated, after performing Carrie Underwood's "Last Name" during the bottom three segment of the show. On July 17, the next original episode of "The Glee Project" with returning guest mentor Darren Criss ("Blaine") will explore the theme of ‘Pairability,' challenging the contenders to collaborate on duets.
