Oxygen's GLEE Marathon = Best Ratings in Network History

Oxygen launched "Glee" with record breaking numbers for its first-ever 12-hour GLEEKEND marathon on Saturday, February 5 making it the network's most watched 11am to 11pm time period (Monday-Sunday) ever, according to Nielsen Media Research. Delivering triple-digit growth (up +120% vs. last 4 week period) among A18-34, Oxygen achieved its best 11am to 11pm Saturday time period among A18-49 (452,000), W18-34 (291,000), A18-34 (270,000) and total viewers (885,000). Additionally, the marathon drew more than 1 million total viewers during the airing of three separate episodes at 4pm ("Grilled Cheesus"), 8pm ("The Substitute") and 10pm ("Special Education").

"'Glee' and Oxygen are a perfect fit and Saturday's 'GLEEKEND' performance is just the beginning of this brand partnership," said Jason Klarman, President, Oxygen Media.

The "Glee" Marathon from 11am-11pm averaged total viewers (885,000), A18-49 (452,000), W18-49 (291,000), A18-34 (270,000) and W18-34 (168,000).

Compared to the prior four week time period average, "Glee" was up +120% among A18-34, +105% among A18-49, +101% among total viewers, +71% among W18-34 and +68% among W18-49. The marathon peaked at the 10pm hour among total viewers (1.078 MM) and in the 8pm hour among A18-49 (564,000).

Episodes from the 12-hour GLEEKEND marathon included fan favorites from seasons one and two of "Glee," including "The Power of Madonna," "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" and "Britney/Brittany."

"The Glee Project" will premiere in June 2011 on Oxygen and will award one lucky winner a coveted seven-episode guest starring role on the third season of FOX's "Glee," which is produced by Ryan Murphy Television in association with 20th Century Fox Television.
