Immediately following at 12 p.m., an all-new series "In Deep Shift with Jonas Elrod" premieres on OWN, featuring "Wake Up" filmmaker Jonas Elrod as he uncovers heart-wrenching, real-life stories of extraordinary spiritual breakthroughs.

Oprah sits down with contemporary theologian and author Father Richard Rohr about how we can reconnect to our true self by overcoming the many ways in which our ego blocks our path. A Franciscan priest for more than forty years and founder of the Center for Action and Contemplation in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Richard has firsthand understanding of how silence and meditation, deeper spiritual intuitions and the inherent experience of love can lead to transformational discoveries within oneself.

In Deep Shift with Jonas Elrod: Mary Neal. To Heaven and Back

12 p.m. - 12:30 p.m. ET/PT

Mary, an accomplished orthopaedic spine surgeon, had a near-death experience and lived to tell her story of hope and purpose. She is forever changed after a kayaking incident when she drowned and came back to life. A woman of fact and science, Mary reports receiving surprising messages, about the future, while she was unconscious, that she wasn't able to share until years later, chronicled her memoir, "To Heaven and Back: A Doctor's Extraordinary Account of Her Death, Heaven, Angels, and Life Again: A True Story." When filmmaker Jonas Elrod visits her at home in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, he gains deeper understanding of Mary's journey, as he chronicles her deep shift, which she says began with redefining life by new terms, balancing science, and spirituality.

In Deep Shift with Jonas Elrod: Jen Larsen. Body Image from the Inside Out

Jen battled with obesity her whole life, but when she shed almost 200 pounds through weight loss surgery, still could not overcome feelings of inadequacy, fear, isolation and anxiety. Jen tried therapy, but she could not shake the feeling of being a foreigner in her own body. Half her regular size, she found that the weight loss was not the only cure, but that she had to work on healing from the inside first. When filmmaker Jonas Elrod visits Jen in Salt Lake City, Utah, he gains deeper understanding of her journey, as he chronicles her deep shift, which she says begins with healing her whole body, mind and spirit.

After losing her legs at age 19 as a result of bacterial meningitis, Amy has led an adulthood of extraordinary accomplishments, representing the power of inner strength as she continues to overcome obstacles and live as a role model for those who have faced challenges in their lives. In the conversation, Oprah and Amy also discuss the importance of positive energy, recognizing love and how it shows up in your life, as well as her new memoir "On My Own Two Feet: From Losing My Legs to Learning the Dance of Life." Most recently, Amy was part of Oprah's multi-city arena tour that traveled throughout the U.S. in THE FALL of 2014, where Amy honored local women who are making positive changes in their communities and inspiring others to do the same.

In Deep Shift with Jonas Elrod: Amanda Lindgren. Love Never Dies

Amanda Lindgren survived a horrific mass shooting in an Aurora, Colorado movie theatre in 2012. Tragically, her boyfriend passed away that night when he heroically jumped in front of her, taking a bullet himself, to save her life. She lives today with an immeasurable loss. Amanda's breakdown was filled with paralyzing grief that prevented her from moving forward, beyond the emotional pain. Filmmaker Jonas Elrod follows her deep shift that begins with taking control of her life again by honoring the love she lost and releasing some of the anguish of that traumatic event. Jonas helps Amanda learn the difference between moving on and moving forward that enables her to always carry her love, Alex, with her in her heart as a positive force. She shares her story to be an inspiration to others who have experienced loss.

In Deep Shift with Jonas Elrod: Vince Young. Fathers and Sons

NFL quarterback Vince Young was a superstar with a promising career. Football was everything, but depression and financial ruin sidelined him and he retired in June 2014. As a COLLEGE FOOTBALL star, Vince was faced with a choice - finish school, or join the NFL. Knowing how much the money would help out his family, he chose the latter, but he flamed out after just a couple of good seasons. Not even 30 years old yet, he has to come to the realization that he might not play again. Losing his identity as an athlete hit him hard. Filmmaker Jonas Elrod visits him in Texas as he follows his deep shift, which begins with going back to school and discovering a future that's bright with or without a career in professional sports.
