Coming off two successful seasons of its hit original series The Art Of, Ovation, America's only arts network, kicks off Season Three tonight, March 2. Produced by OVATION Studios, the third season of The Art Of packs a punch with 12 new episodes and three "best of" specials, featuring a broad array of alternative and unique art forms and disciplines from an even greater mix of artists across the U.S. Topics explored this season include Brewing, Winemaking, Home Design, Comics, 3D Design, Photography and more. All new episodes air on Sunday nights at 7:30 p.m. ET, only on Ovation.
The Art Of is a weekly half-hour series that profiles three artists who are creating boundary-pushing work in media that are not part of the traditional definition of "art." Focusing on the celebrated, as well as the undiscovered, this series explores the creative process behind each featured art form and uncovers how and why these artists do what they do.
In its inaugural season, The Art Of explored art forms such as graffiti, tattoo, hip-hop, sushi, sneakers, animation and mixology. Season Two delved into such diverse topics as burlesque, dessert, hair, fashion, holidays and costume design.
