Following the critically-acclaimed, three-season run of the epic drama series Versailles, Ovation, America's only arts network, continues the tradition of presenting premium artful programming with the debut of Riviera, a scripted drama series starring actress Julia Stiles. Riviera masterfully weaves complex characters and an intricate plot, all against the incomparable backdrop of the Cote d'Azur. There is beauty, there is wealth, but audiences will soon learn that all that glitters is not gold. Season One of Riviera will air on Ovation starting Saturday, February 9th at 10pm ET / 7pm PT.
Created by Neil Jordan (The Borgias, The Crying Game), Riviera stars Julia Stiles (the Bourne series) as art curator Georgina Clios, whose husband CONSTANTINE (Anthony LaPaglia - Bad Blood, Without a Trace), head of the Clios Bank, is killed in a yacht explosion. She must work out who in his family she can TRUST to help her uncover whether it was an accident, murder, or if CONSTANTINE is still alive. Lena Olin (Alias, The Unbearable Lightness of Being) stars as Constantine's ex-wife Irina, while Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones), Dimitri Leonidas and Roxane Duran play the Clios children. The series also stars Adrian Lester (Undercover, London Spy) as art dealer Robert Carver, an old and trusted friend to Georgina who dabbles in forgery and the more criminal side of life.
