In its first year of eligibility Outside Television, America's preeminent adventure television network, has received two nominations from The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for the 37th Annual Sports Emmy Awards. The nominees for "Jeremy Jones' Higher" are in the Outstanding Serialized Sports Documentary and Outstanding Camera Work categories.

"It's great validation to be nominated in the same categories as HBO, Showtime, NBC, ABC/ESPN and CBS" said Rob Faris the Senior Vice President of Programming and Production for Outside Television. "This is a tribute to the efforts put forth by the Outside Television and TGR teams who push the limits each day to create compelling story-based content captured in the world of adventure sports."

The awards will be presented on Tuesday May 10, 2016 at the Frederick P. Rose Hall located at the Time Warner Center in New York City. Nominations were announced in 40 categories including Outstanding Live Sports Special, Live Sports Series and Playoff Coverage, three Documentary categories, Outstanding New Media, Outstanding Play-By-Play Announcer and Studio Host, among others. Additionally, this year's Lifetime Achievement Award goes to Verne Lundquist, who has covered sports for the past 40 years at CBS.

Pushing the boundaries of conventional cinematography, Outside Television continues to blend high quality visuals and compelling subject matter with current programs such as The UNREAL World, Outlook, DISPATCHES and the soon to be released Lift Off and Maverick Moments.
