According to The Hollywood Reporter, ousted 'Real Housewives of New York's' star Jill Zarin is currently in talks with the Fox network to star in a new reality show tentatively titled, 'The Beverly Jillbillies'. The series would follow Zarin as she leaves the comforts of Manhattan and moves to LA where she struggles to be a fish out of water.
Bravo revealed last September that Zarin, an original cast member of the the network's 'Real Housewives' franchise, was axed from the show along with her New York castmates Alex McCord, Kelly Bensimon and Cindy Barshop. Angered by the network's decision, Zarin has since demanded a 'finder's fee' for bringing in ex-friend Bethenny Frankel to the series. Frankel has gone on to star in her own reality show on Bravo. Complained Zarin, "I brought in Bethenny, and I don't get a percentage of anything she spins off. The first, second and third season salary pretty much added up to the fourth season. I worked really hard."
Currently, the Fox network has not confirmed reports of plans to feature Zarin on their upcoming programming schedule.
