Across all airings, 12.2 million people tuned in to see the telecasts on OWN in the U.S. with 15 million tuning in internationally in 18 countries that are rated across Discovery Networks and OWN Canada, and 800,000 unique viewers tuned in to watch the LIVE interview stream online worldwide.
Friday's Part 2 premiere (9 p.m.) marked the highest Friday telecast in OWN history across the key demos with an average audience of 2.4 million viewers watching over the two telecasts (1.8 million viewers at 9 p.m. and 620,000 viewers in the encore at 11:30 p.m.). The premiere posted triple-digit growth across the key demos versus year ago numbers (+311% W25-54, +396% total viewers).Thursday's Part 1 interview on OWN averaged 4.3 million viewers over the two telecasts with 3.2 milliontotal viewers watching the premiere at 9 p.m. and an additional 1.1 millionwatching the encore at 10:30 p.m.Internationally, the interview was seen in over 190 countries, on 50 total networks, in 30 languages, as it was simulcast across Canada, Western Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America (episode 1 only) on OWN Canada, Discovery Channel, TLC, DMAX and Home&Health. The viewership number is expected to grow over the next few days as most markets report on Live+7. The premiere brought in the highest individual rating of all time on TLC South Africa with over a 7 share, making it the #1 program in all of television for the whole day (Friday, Jan. 18, All Day). Across all transmissions, it was also the #1 rated titleaired on Discovery UK, the #2 rated title aired on TLC Netherlands, and also ranked among the top 10 titles aired on Discovery Belgium and Discovery Australia in the past 52 weeks.Videos
