EWonline reports that former Penn State Assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky may be getting ready to appear in a host of upcoming television interviews, including sit downs with Oprah Windrey and Barbara Walters. Sandusky has recently been charged with sexually abusing young boys during his tenure at Penn State.
Joe Amendola, attorney for Sandusky recently told PennLive.com that the coach and his wife Dottie are considering granting interviews to CBS's '60 Minutes', NBC's 'Rock Center', Oprah Winfrey or ABC's Barbara Walters. Sandusky previously had a phone interview with Rock Center's Bob Costas on November 14th, giving the new NBC show a huge ratings boost.
Dottie Sandusky has come under recent attack after one of the her husband's accusers told a grand jury that she may have witnessed the abuse at the Sandusky home yet failed to act on his behalf. She has denied the accusation.
Sheryl Underwood, host of the new CBS show 'The Talk' told EW that she would welcome the opportunity to interview Sandusky but joked that, “It just wouldn’t go good!”
