NBC Sports Group will present comprehensive coverage of the XFINITY KILLINGTON CUP this weekend from Killington, Vt., as U.S. Olympic gold medalist and defending overall World Cup champion Mikaela Shiffrin headlines this weekend's slate of competitors at the latest stop on the FIS World Cup tour. NBC's coverage begins Saturday at 3 p.m. ET with Runs 1 and 2 of the women's giant slalom, followed by live coverage of the women's slalom on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.

Shiffrin is in search of her first win of the season after finishing fifth in giant slalom in the World Cup opener in Soelden, Austria, and second in the first slalom race of the season in Levi, Finland. Shiffrin enjoyed success at Killington in 2016, finishing first in the slalom and fifth in the giant slalom, respectively.
The women's giant slalom field is deep this season, with Germany's Viktoria Rebensburg, France's Tessa Worley, Italy's Sofia Goggia and Switzerland's Lara Gut (who is in the process of returning from an ACL injury) all top contenders, while Slovakia's Petra Vlhova has beaten Shiffrin in each of her last two slalom starts.
Coverage begins Saturday at 10 a.m. ET on NBCSports.com and the
NBC Sports app with the first run of the women's giant slalom, followed by live coverage of Run 2 of the women's giant slalom at 12:30 p.m. ET on Olympic Channel: Home of Team USA.
