Two new documentary specials BEING CHAZ chronicling Chaz Bono and his girlfriend Jennifer Elia as they navigate their lives together post Chaz's gender transformation surgery, and "I AM JAZZ: A Family in Transition," following the life of an extraordinary family and their transgendered daughter, will premiere Sunday, November 27 on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. BEING CHAZ will air 8-9 p.m. ET/PT followed by "I AM JAZZ: A Family in Transition" from 9-10 p.m. ET/PT.

BEING CHAZ is the anticipated follow-up special to the 2011 Emmy Award nominated OWN Documentary Club film "Becoming Chaz" about Chaz Bono's transition from a woman to a man, which will have an encore airing immediately preceding the special from 6-8 p.m. ET/PT. The special follows Chaz as he embraces his new life, while his fiancé Jen begins to deal with living with a man. Viewers will also see the trials and tribulations of the couple's relationship as Chaz prepares for his debut on "Dancing with the Stars" amidst controversy and threats to his life over his decision to participate in the show. "Being Chaz" is executive produced by Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato. Elise Duran serves as director and co-executive producer. World of Wonder, the production shingle of Bailey and Barbato, also produced "Becoming Chaz."

In the documentary special "I AM JAZZ: A Family in Transition," 11-year-old Jazz and her family face a life-altering decision as the ebullient tween approaches puberty. Through extensive archival family footage and first-person interviews, Jazz and her family share their powerful personal story as they grapple with the possibility of hormone blocking therapy and issues related to fertility, discrimination and identity. The special is directed by Jen Stocks and executive produced by Bill Hayes, Kirk Streb, Wayne Mahon and Mark Gottwald, Figure 8 Films.
