OUR BLOOD IS WINE Documentary Set To Open in NYC March 16

Filmmaker Emily Railsback and award-winning sommelier Jeremy Quinn explore the rebirth of an 8,000-year-old winemaking tradition in the Republic of Georgia in the new documentary OUR BLOOD IS WINE. The fascinating documentary will be the centerpiece of a nationwide tour of one-night-only screenings and wine-tasting events hosted by renowned wine expert Chris Terrell on March 9 through March 21. Cities on the tour include Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, New York, Chicago and Washington D.C.

Kicking off the film release will be a world premiere screening at the 2018 Berlin International Film Festival where nine documentaries and fictional films focusing on the relationship between food, culture and politics will be presented within the Culinary Cinema.

OUR BLOOD IS WINE's unique, multi-platform rollout includes a NY theatrical opening on March 16th accompanied by a nationwide release beginning March 20th on VOD platforms such as: iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Instant, Vudu and YouTube. The film will later be released onto DVD following the theatrical release and wine tasting and screening event tour.

Georgia is generally recognized as the birthplace for domesticated wine, with a history dating back to 6,000 B.C. and wines continuing to be made by many families in the country's fertile valleys in the South Caucasus Mountains.

In OUR BLOOD IS WINE, Railsback and Quinn set out to learn more about the region's inhabitants, their ancient winemaking methods, and Georgia's wine revival following 70 years of Soviet occupation and 1 7-year Russian embargo (2006-2013). During their remarkable journey across Georgia, Railsback and Quinn are exposed to an intimate and resilient family-based society that has survived regular foreign invasion and repeated attempts to erase their indigenous culture. The resurgence of traditional winemaking-where wine is so profoundly woven into the customs and daily life of the culture-is the central force driving the independent and autonomous nation into the 21st Century.

Executive produced by Music Box Films President Bill Schopf and former Managing Director Ed Arentz as the debut film of their production company Morgan Station Films OUR BLOOD IS WINE will open theatrically in New York City at

the Village East Cinema beginning March 16th.
