OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK Announces Fall Premiere Dates

OWN: OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK announced today the network's fall premiere schedule, which includes the seven-night landmark television event "Belief" (Oct. 18-24) plus all-new episodes and seasons of returning favorites beginning this September.

"Oprah's Master Class" returns for its fifth season on Sunday, October 25 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with handpicked masters including Ellen DeGeneres, Robert Duvall, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Smokey Robinson, Jeff Bridges, James Taylor and Patti LaBelle.

The fall season kicks off on Friday, September 11 with brand new episodes of Tyler Perry's comedy series "For Better or Worse" at 9 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT. A new season of "Iyanla: Fix My Life" returns on Saturday, September 19 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, with Iyanla's three-part special premiere followed by the return of "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" at 10 p.m. ET/PT with updates on some of our favorite celebrities and newsmakers. New episodes of Tyler Perry's popular drama "If Loving You Is Wrong" return on Tuesday, September 22 at 10 p.m. (the series will move to its regular time period at 9 p.m. beginning Tuesday, September 29).

On Sunday, October 4, new episodes of the two-time Emmy award-winning "Super Soul Sunday" premieres in its new time period at 7 p.m. ET/PT with guests including President Jimmy Carter, Shonda Rhimes and Dr. BrenéBrown. Narrated by Oprah Winfrey, the landmark television event series, "Belief," airs Sunday, October 18-24 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

New episodes of family docu-series "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's" (9 p.m. ET/PT) and "Raising Whitley" (10 p.m. ET/PT) return on Saturday, November 14.

"FOR BETTER OR WORSE" (#FORBETTER)
Returns Friday, September 11 at 9 and 9:30 p.m. ET/PT
Comedy "For Better or Worse" from Tyler Perry follows the ups and downs of dating and marriage and centers on Angela Williams (Tasha Smith), the owner of a successful beauty salon, and her husband of 13 years, Marcus (Michael Jai White). This new season, Keisha (Kiki Haynes) and Richard's (Kent Faulcon) messy divorce causes tensions among their entire group of friends as well as creates problems for C-Sports. Richard leans heavily on his friendship with Marcus and Angela as he is forced to move in with them during this difficult time. Meanwhile, Joseph (Jason Olive) and Leslie (Crystle Stewart) are settling into life together and begin the harrowing task of planning a wedding. Despite it all, this season delivers more laughs than ever as this cast of characters deal with these uncanny situations in the most eclectic and unconventional ways. The series also stars Brad James and Cocoa Brown. "For Better or Worse" is created, written, directed and executive produced by Tyler Perry and produced for OWN by Tyler Perry Studios.

"IYANLA: FIX MY LIFE" (#FIXMYLIFE)

From pastors leading secret gay lives to a fallen Olympic star to a former model who risked her own health with dangerous butt injections for beauty, spiritual life coach Iyanla Vanzant tackles many thought-provoking issues on the all-new season of OWN's award-winning series "Iyanla: Fix My Life." In eight emotional episodes, Iyanla helps those who are struggling, guiding them toward a new way of living and encouraging them to do the work necessary for real change. Their stories made headlines across America. "Oprah: Where Are They Now?" rediscovers "Oprah Show" guests who made you laugh and made you cry. Find out where they are now, plus see what has happened to some of the biggest newsmakers of all time, and how their lives changed after sudden fame and notoriety turned their worlds upside down. Upcoming episodes feature updates with a wide variety of newsmakers from all walks of life, including J.R. Martinez, the former U.S. Army soldier who suffered disfiguring injuries while serving in Iraq, yet who went on to co-star in "All My Children" and win Season 13 of "Dancing With The Stars;" Danny Pintauro, the child star of "Who's The Boss," and Tracey Gold, the "Growing Pains" star whose battle with anorexia focused a spotlight on the potentially deadly disease. OWN's popular drama takes viewers into the lives of a group of husbands, wives and friends that live and love in the same middle class neighborhood. This season examines what happens when friends and neighbors become the victims of their own lust, anger and misdeeds. The city of Maxine is left reeling as news hits the streets of the birth of Alex's (Amanda Clayton) interracial baby, PROOF of her adulterous affair with next-door-neighbor Randal (Eltony Williams). Brad's (Aiden Turner) rage over his wife's infidelity, shared by neighbor Marcie's (Heather Hemmens) disgust of her own husband's actions, sets both on the destructive path of revenge. Meanwhile, police officer Lushion (Charles Malik Whitfield) begins to uncover the horrific depth of corruption of his former partner, Eddie (Joel Rush, who is intent on delivering his own brand of street justice, aware that he has angered the Colombian mob who will stop at nothing to have him killed. When Robbie Montgomery's lung collapsed, the 1960's backup singer and former Ikette had to find another career. So she whipped out her mother's recipes and focused on her second love, cooking. She opened her first soul food restaurant, Sweetie Pie's, in 1996, and with the help of her son, Tim, and the rest of her family, they now have four Sweetie Pie's locations in St. Louis. On an all-new season of "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's," Miss Robbie and Tim are taking their soul food EMPIRE to the stars and fanfare of Los Angeles, where they are opening a fifth restaurant. Tim has brought an all-star team across the country to help bring Sweetie Pie's signature style and flavor to this big-time city, but not everyone will play nice. Living in the home of show business has also re-lit Miss Robbie's musical fire, and she is as determined as ever to get a new song recorded. With Hollywood just down the street, you never know who may stop in to get their taste of the world famous "Sweetie Pie's" kitchen. "RAISING WHITLEY" (#RAISINGWHITLEY)

"Raising Whitley" is a humorous, poignant docu-series following actress and comedienne Kym Whitley and her riotous collective of friends - whom she calls "The Village" - as they attempt to do something none of them have ever done before: raise a child...together. The Village bands together to help Kym bring up Joshua the best they know how, but sometimes it's hard to tell who is more mature - Joshua or the adults tasked with raising him. On an all-new season of "Raising Whitley" Kym is ecstatic when her sitcom, "Young & Hungry," gets picked up for another season, but questions how she will balance important mommy time with Joshua and long work days. Kym's good friend, Mickey, offers to help out and moves in with Kym, but when weeks turn to months, Kym starts to wonder if her friend will ever leave. Kym's friends "The Village" find themselves in a heated disagreement and Kym calls Judge Mablean to hold an intervention. Meanwhile, Wendell's good friend Omarosa ("The Apprentice"), brings in a love coach to help Wendell face his dating fears. At four and a half, Joshua continues to hit new milestones on a seemingly daily basis, as he learns how to ride a bike, play the piano and even goes on his first ski trip. He's growing up so fast that Kym decides it's finally time to move out and start looking for a bigger home, the kind of place she's always dreamed of.
