ONE DIRECTION: Where We Are – The Concert Heading to Cinemas Globally This October

Fathom Events, Arts Alliance, Syco, Modest!, Sony Music Entertainment and Fulwell 73 partner to bring global music phenomenon One Direction to cinemas in the U.S. for just one weekend on October 11 and 12. "One Direction: Where We Are - The Concert Film," recorded in the midst of the group's epic sold-out "Where We Are" global and US tour, will give fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to join together to celebrate the One Direction live concert experience on the big screen for the very first time. This Fathom Event is an exclusive front row chance with a back stage pass to see One Direction in a larger-than-life setting.

With more than 10,000 screenings scheduled in over 60 countries, fans will come together for one special 1D weekend. Directed by Paul Dugdale (Coldplay, Rolling Stones, Adele), "One Direction: Where We Are - The Concert Film" features Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis, both on stage and backstage during their recent 69-city world tour. Millions of fans across the U.S. will get only four chances to see their favorite band this October. Matinee and evening events are scheduled on Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and 12 at 12:55 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. both days (local time).

Tickets for "One Direction: Where We Are - The Concert Film" are available at participating theater box offices and online at www.FathomEvents.com. The event will be presented across Fathom's entire Digital Broadcast Network nationwide. Recorded at the iconic San Siro stadium in Milan from the sell-out Italian leg of the tour, this one-off cinema event features all of One Direction's biggest hits, from "What Makes You Beautiful" to "Story Of My Life." Fans will also get the chance to go behind the scenes with a 15-minute pre-show of a never-before-seen interview with the band cut with exclusive backstage tour footage. This global and exclusive One Direction film weekend is a chance to watch the band's tour for the first time, or to re-live the moment with friends and get closer than ever before in true high definition and cinema surround sound.

Mark Foster, CEO of new entity Arts Alliance, said, "I'm delighted this will be Arts Alliance's first Pop release since the production and finance company, Mr Wolf, merged with Arts Alliance Media's distribution arm. We intend this to be the first of many more record-breaking theatrical releases."
