Entertainment Weekly reports that ONCE's former leading man and Tony winner Steve Kazee will be appearing as Joan Watson's (Lucy Liu) love interest on CBS' Elementary in the show's "We Are Everyone" episode this October.

Watson will meet Kazee's character via online dating, but Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) will have a thing or two to say about Internet-based relationships.

Kazee's other TV credits include Working Class and appearances on CSI, NCIS, Numb3rs, Medium and Conviction. Before ONCE, Kazee appeared on Broadway in To Be or Not To Be, 110 in the Shade, Seascape and Monty Python's Spamalot.

Elementary stars Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes and Liu as Dr. Joan Watson in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases. Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric Sherlock escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare -- a sober companion, Dr. Watson.

Elementary will kick off its second season on September 26 on CBS.
