EWOnline reports that ONCE UPON A TIME's Emilie de Ravin will become a series regular when the popular ABC drama series returns for its second season. The actress who starred in 'Lost', portrayed the Beauty and the Beast heroine in three episodes of the series freshman season.

Said de Ravin, “It’s a beautiful story, but I think it also shows that there’s not always a happy ending. Most of these original fairy tales — of course, being predominately made as animations for children — didn’t want to have a tragedy at the end. So they definitely take a more realistic approach.”

De Ravin's film credits include Santa's Slay (2005), The Hills Have Eyes (2006) and Ball Don't Lie (2008). She starred as Brendan Frye's heroin-addicted ex-girlfriend Emily in the neo-noir film Brick (2005). She had a small cameo in Public Enemies (2009) and more recently starred in Remember Me (2010).
