Jay Armstrong Johnson, star of Broadway's On the Town, will join the second season of the award- winning comedic web series Seeking.

Seeking's first season garnered festival buzz and recognition, including the coveted Best Web Series Award at Long Beach Indie International Film Festival and a win for Best Actress for Creator/Lead Ronit Aranoff (Off Broadway's The Bluebird, Urban Stages) at the LA Web Series Festival.

Based on true stories, Seeking follows New York City every-girl Ella as she is dared to give absurd and undatable men a chance in the NYC singles scene. Seeking is born out of real-life dating stories that have been submitted by a slew of New Yorkers eager to share their woes. The first season is now available on their Youtube channel, SeekingSeries. This season continues to follow Ella on her quest for a somewhat compatible mate.

This season, directed by Ruth Du, adds many Broadway regulars to the cast, including Jay Armstrong Johnson as Sam, her latest beau. The season also features new additions Sharone Sayegh (Mamma Mia), Eric Giancola (Book of Mormon, Mary Poppins), Bryan Scott Johnson (Mamma Mia, Orange is the New Black), Robbie Sublett (The Civilians, CBS' The Good Wife), Laura Ramadei (Lesser America), Meetu Chilana (Zarkana, Cirque du Soleil) Lawrence Arancio (CAP21, ABC's Forever), Adriene Couvillion (Broadway the Hard Way), Celine Rosenthal (Leap of Faith, Wake Up Marconi), Gina Labozetta (Manhattan Rep) and returning cast members Johnny Ramey (Helen Hayes winner, Superior Donuts), W. Tre Davis (Hamlet, Shakespeare in the Park), Jenson Smith (FX's Louie), Michael Hanson (Smith Street Stage, The Outs), Brian Cheng (Theatre for a New City), Mark Mozingo and Nathan Bredeman (Viralcom).

Seeking's indiegogo campaign launched earlier this month is alive and thriving. You can visit their campaign for more information on how to get involved: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/seeking-the-web-series-season-2--2
