Noah Hawley is set to direct a film adaptation of To Be Read Backwards for Fox, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Hawley , a short story by Matthew Baker. The tale follows a man who begins his life at his death and learns about himself as he, and the world, unravel in reverse, ultimately revealing humanity and mystery.
Hawley just recently made his feature directorial debut with Pale Blue Dot. He has an overall first-look feature deal at Fox. Hawley will produce the project through his 26 Keys banner with Leigh Kittay and Matt Reilly is overseeing for the studio.
Hawley is best known for creating the X-Men series Legion and the Fargo TV series, which is in production on its fourth season.
