Nightdrive To Present World Premiere of ALIEN NATION, a Live, Immersive Alien Movie

Nightdrive will present the world premiere of Alien Nation, a live, immersive alien movie, this fall at THE PARADISE Factory.

Alien Nation, written by Skylar FOX and Simon Henriques, and directed by Skylar Fox, is about a group of college seniors who just might be terrible people, and the race of aliens that invade their bodies to make them better. Fleeing cross-country from the FBI, who are coming to neutralize the extraterrestrial threat, these kids are forced to reckon with what it means to change, to outgrow and be outgrown by those you love, and to try to be a better human being. Complete with an original film score, dancing, magic, and 360 degree set design, Alien Nationcasts and recasts its audience as extras in a wild, funny, theatrical thriller tinged with existential regret.

The cast features Carrie Adams, Simon Henriques, Elisha Mudly, Alexander Paris, Graham Techler, and Jessie Kenner Tidball.

Skylar Fox, a member of the team behind the critically lauded illusions on Broadway's Tony Award-winning Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, directs and creates original magic and practical effects to bring the world of Alien Nationto life. His other recent credits include directing the premiere workshop of Gracie Gardner's RELENTLESS Award-winning play Pussy Sludgeand creating effects for Moulin Rouge! The production team also features lighting design by Princess Grace Fellow and two-time Helen Hayes Award winner Christopher Annas-Lee, sound design and original composition by Nara Shin, and set design by Skylar FOX and Adam Wyron. It is executive produced by Jenny Gorelick and stage managed by Lida Richardson.

Nightdrive makes inventive, funny, strange plays that push theatrical boundaries to communicate with audiences in new and exciting ways. Their genre-warping work has previously been developed and produced at Ice Factory at the New Ohio, Ars Nova, the Tank, the Brick, Fresh Ground Pepper, the Flea, and Orange Tea Theatre in Amsterdam. Their show Apathy Boywas a 2015 O'Neill Finalist, and they are currently developing their show Societyas part of Pipeline Theatre's 2018-2019 PlayLab. Skylar FOX and Simon Henriques are the co-artistic directors of Nightdrive, and Jenny Gorelick is its executive producer.
