According to The Hollywood Reporter, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES' actress Nicollette Sheridan completed her testimony yesterday morning in her lawsuit against the show's creator, Marc Cherry and the ABC network. Sheridan is suing for $6 million dollars for allegedly being assaulted and wrongfully terminated from the show.

Sheridan claims that she was inappropriately hit by Cherry during the filming of a scene.  She explained how she later received a letter from ABC's human resources department informing her that no action would be taken after she complained about the incident. The actress testified, “I thought it was an appalling, outrageous lie."

The actress went on to tell the court that a month later, during a sexual harassment training session, she decided not to bring up the incident because "Quite frankly I was afraid of being retaliated against. I wasn’t sure what the HR department or what any HR department really was.”

When Cherry took the stand on Monday, he told jurors he believed he had permission to tap the head of Sheridan and called it "a tap for artistic direction" while rehearsing a scene.
