Nicolle Wallace is Latest Host to Exit ABC's Beleaguered Talk Show THE VIEW

Variety reports that Nicolle Wallace is the latest host to exit ABC's beleagered talk show THE VIEW. Serving as one of the conservative voices of the panel, Wallace turned down an offer to return as an occasional contributor next season.

In a note to his staff, executive Bill Wolff shared, "Our friend Nicolle Wallace is going to leave the show at the conclusion of the season. Having worked with her for most of the last year, you know the warmth, smarts, and professionalism she has brought to the job every day. She will always be a friend of our show, and I know you join me in wishing her only the best."

Wallace is expected to have her final appearance this week, before THE VIEW begins its summer break next week. The show returns for its 19th season this fall and will feature Whoopi Goldberg, Raven-Symone, Michelle Collins, Paula Faris and Candace Cameron Bure as panelists. In addition, the new season will see a revolving door of guest hosts such as Sherri Shepherd and Molly Sims.
