Nicole Kidman to be Awarded with Cinema Vanguard Award

According to Variety, the Santa Barbara Film Fest will honor Nicole Kidman with the Cinema Vanguard Award at the Feb. 5 tribute at the Arlington Theater. Kidman will star in the upcoming film "Rabbit Hole."

The award has previously been given to actors like Vera Famiga and Christoph Waltz. It is awarded to an actor who has taken artistic risks.

The 26th Santa Barbara Film Fest runs from Jan. 27 through Feb. 6.

Kidman appeared on Broadway in the original Broadway production of THE BLUE ROOM.
