Nicky Jam, Cinco & More to Perform at 2017 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS on Telemundo

Leading urban music singer and one of this year's top finalists, Nicky Jam, award-winning Regional Mexican ensemble Banda Sinaloense MS De Sergio Lizarraga and popular boy band CNCO, to perform at the 2017 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS. The longest-running and most prestigious awards show in the Latin music world will be produced by Telemundo and Tony Mojena/Ants TV Productions, Inc., and broadcast live on Thursday, April 27 at 8pm/7c from The Watsco Center at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. The event will also broadcast simultaneously on Universo.

Nicky Jam, one of reggaeton's most prolific artists and a nine-time finalist this year is dominating the airwaves and music sales with his recently released album "Fenix" which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart. His latest single "El Amante" became his first top 10 debut ever on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart, arriving at No. 8 earlier in February. The track became his fifth #1 on the Billboard Latin Airplay chart. Nicky Jam will thrill viewers as he hits the Billboard Latin Music stage for the worldwide television debut of "El Amante."

Hailing from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, the award-winning Banda Sinaloense MS de Sergio Lizarraga also known as Banda MS are one of the top finalist Regional Mexican music acts this year, up for eight awards. The group earned its second #1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums with "Que Bendicion" last year. Three songs from this album hit the top 10 on the Billboard Hot Latin Songs: "Solo Con Verte," "Me Vas a Extrañar," and "Tengo Que Colgar."

Made up of Christopher Velez, Erick Brian Colon, Joel Pimentel, Richard Camacho and Zabdiel de Jesus, Latin music's newest phenomenon and four-time finalist, CNCO is ready to conquer the world this year with its first headlining tour titled Más Allá, which began last month and spans 40 dates in Central and South America, Mexico, Portugal, Spain, and the United States. CNCO signed with Sony Music Latin and recorded a debut album "Primera Cita" with producer Wisin, which premiered at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart with the highest sales week of any Latin album in 2016.

The 2017 Billboard Latin Music Awards, in addition to its red carpet pre-show "La Alfombra de Premios Billboard," will also broadcast throughout the Americas. Viewers can tune-in to Telemundo Internacional in 24 countries and to open broadcast in Canada, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, and Peru.
