Nicki Minaj to Host & Perform at 2014 MTV EMA in Glasgow!

MTV today announced that hip-hop superstar Nicki Minaj will host the "2014 MTV EMA" on Sunday, November 9 LIVE from the SSE Hydro in Glasgow. The world's annual music awards show that celebrates the year's hottest artists from around the globe will kick off in Miami at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Just two weeks before she releases her highly anticipated third studio album, The PinkPrint, the Queen of Hip Hop who is nominated in four MTV EMA categories including "Best Female," "Best Hip Hop," "Biggest Fans" and "Best Look" will also rock the crowd with a no holds barred performance that is sure to be one of the night's most memorable moments.

"I will not only perform, but I have the honorable task of HOSTING this year's #MTVEMA!!!!!!! AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!," said Nicki Minaj to her fans via Twitter.

As previously announced, the 2014 MTV EMA will kick off in the U.S. LIVE from Miami, FL and will broadcast on MTV channels around the world on Sunday, November 9th beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT from The Hydro in Glasgow. The MTV EMA - MTV's global celebration of the hottest stars in music - recognizes artists from around the world and across genres, and brings together music fans everywhere for a one-of-a-kind experience in the weeks leading up to and at the show. The 2014 MTV EMA marks the first time that the show will be held in Glasgow, Scotland and has received support from Glasgow City Marketing Bureau and EventScotland.
