Nickelodeon to Premiere New Series DORA AND FRIENDS: INTO THE CITY, 11/24

Nickelodeon stuffs THANKSGIVING week with brand-new episodes of preschool favorites Dora and Friends: Into the City! and Bubble Guppies. The week kicks off with the Dora and Friends special, "Mystery of the Magic Horses," on Monday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. (ET/PT), followed by BUBBLE GUPPIES "Gobble Gobble Guppies" on Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 9 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.

In "Mystery of the Magic Horses," Dora and her friends set off on a magical journey to a mysterious island to save a herd of lost horses. Along the way, they must outwit bandits so they can safely return the horses to the city farm. In "Gobble Gobble Guppies," Molly and Gil discover all of the pumpkins are missing when they go to the pumpkin patch. Their turkey friend Giblet leads them on a harvest hunt to find the culprits--the pumpkin patch pirates!

On Nov. 14, Nickelodeon's award-winning website, www.nickjr.com, will launch a Dora and Friends "Legend of the Lost Horses" game and printable activity packs. Beginning Nov. 19, the BUBBLE GUPPIES page will feature an exclusive FIRST LOOK of "Gobble Gobble Guppies," Thanksgiving-themed episodes and fun activity packs.

Dora and Friends: Into the City! is a brand-new animated preschool series airing weekdays at 10 a.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. The series features the iconic character Dora living in a city, attending school and at the center of a peer group that works together to give back to the community--having both real-life and magical adventures along the way. Dora and Friends, created by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh Valdes, is set to a soundtrack of Latin-influenced pop music and features an interactive curriculum focusing on community service, problem solving, emotional skills, Spanish language and Latino culture.

Bubble Guppies is a CG-animated series featuring a group of diverse preschoolers with colorful fish tails who go on adventures discovering their world. The Emmy Award-winning series, created by Robert Scull and Jonny Belt, is set to a soundtrack of catchy, educational pop songs and features a curriculum that infuses the core elements of kindergarten readiness including: math, literacy, the arts, Science and socio-emotional development.
