Nickelodeon Signs New Expanded Content Deal with iQIYI, a Leading Chinese Online Entertainment Service

iQIYI Inc.(IQ) ("iQIYI" or the "Company"),an innovative market-leading online entertainment service inChina, today announced it has signed a new multi-year Nickelodeon content deal for mainland China with Viacom International Media Networks, a division of Viacom Inc. (VIA, VIAB). Under the new expanded agreement, iQIYI will have exclusive streaming rights for Mandarin and English Nickelodeon programming in mainland China on iQIYI's platforms for kids, which will see an anticipated four-fold increase of content from their previous deal.

iQIYI's collaboration with Nickelodeon first started in 2012. In 2017, iQIYI signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with Nickelodeon, winning exclusive streaming rights to Shimmer and ShineandBlaze and the Monster Machines. This latest agreement will give iQIYI exclusive streaming rights to several hit Nickelodeon properties, including the latest seasons of Shimmer and Shine,Blaze and the Monster Machines,SpongeBob SquarePants,Top Wing,Rusty RivetsandRise of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

For the three months ended December 31, 2017, iQIYI's Monthly Active User (MAU) reached about 421 million on mobile and Daily Active User (DAU) reached 126 million; on PC platform iQIYI's MAU and DAU reached about 424 million and 54 million respectively, making iQIYI the leading digital content service provider in mainland China.

As the online video market becomes more competitive, innovation has become key to market success. iQIYI is aggressively pursuing innovation in the areas of AI, AR and other technologies in the field of children's entertainment, to promote a more educational and enriching entertainment environment for children.
