NickMom welcomes the acclaimed family comedy series The New Adventures of Old Christine (88 episodes) to the block tonight, June 1, at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), under a deal with Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. The half-hour series stars Emmy Award-winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Seinfeld) as Christine Campbell who attempts to juggle the daily stresses of motherhood and business. The series will regularly air weeknights 11 p.m. - 12 a.m. and 1-2 a.m. (ET/PT) and weekends from 10 p.m. - 12 a.m. (ET/PT) during the NickMom programming block on the Nick Jr. channel.

"The New Adventures of Old Christine is the perfect addition to NickMom, the go-to destination for comedy created with mom in mind," said Bronwen O'Keefe, Senior Vice President, NickMom. "Julia Louis-Dreyfus shines in this series as a loveably imperfect mom and career woman who our viewers will relate to and root for."

In The New Adventures of Old Christine, divorced working mother Christine Campbell (Louis-Dreyfus) owns a women's 30-minute workout gym with her best friend, Barb (Wanda Sykes), and sends her young son, Ritchie (Trevor Gagnon), to a posh private school, where Christine endures endless encounters with two snooty, stay-at-home "meanie" moms, Marly (Tricia O'Kelley) and Lindsay (Alex Kapp Horner). Christine's younger brother, Matthew (Hamish Linklater), lives with her and, in a pinch, serves as Ritchie's babysitter -- and her emotional rock. Christine gets along with her charming ex-husband, Richard (Clark Gregg), even better than when they were married, but her life has been a lot more complicated after meeting Richard's new girlfriend: a nice, young, impossible-to-hate woman also named Christine (Emily Rutherfurd) -- the "new" Christine. This, by default, makes Christine "old." After realizing that Richard is moving on with his life, "old" Christine is trying to make that same leap.

The New Adventures of Old Christine ran for five seasons on CBS and was nominated for nine Primetime Emmy awards, winning one for Louis-Dreyfus' performance in the first season. The series was created by Kari Lizer (Will & Grace, Boston Common, Maggie Winters), executive produced by Lizer and Andy Ackerman (Two and a Half Men, Seinfeld, Becker, Wings, Cheers, Frasier), and produced by Kari's Logo Here in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Recent additions to the NickMom schedule include the docu-comedy series Take Me To Your Mother starring comic Andrea Rosen. NickMom also recently picked up second seasons of the stand-up comedy series NickMom Night Out (23 episodes) hosted by The View's Sherri Shepherd, talk show Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor (20 episodes) and Instant Mom (13 episodes), the block's first original scripted comedy series, starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict.

NickMom is a new Primetime ad-supported TV block for moms that airs on the Nick Jr. channel. The block features a mix of original long- and short-form programming, including talk shows, stand-up and sketch comedy, docu-series and more. Current series on NickMom include: NickMom Night Out; Take Me To Your Mother; MFF: Mom Friends Forever; Parental Discretion with Stefanie Wilder-Taylor and What Was Carol Brady Thinking? NickMom is also a fully featured comedy and entertainment site with extensive content including short-form video, photos, editorial pieces and games.
