No one is more of a believer in second changes than Tia Torres. For the past two decades, she has dedicated her life to Villalobos Rescue Center, the largest pit bull rescue center in the U.S. Torres gives a new lease on life to dogs that were discarded, demonized and abused, often due solely to the reputation of their breed. Villalobos also has offered a fresh start to the more than 50 parolees whom Tia has employed - each trying to get his life on the right track despite also being stigmatized by society for his past. After relocating to New Orleans three years ago, Villalobos is now at maximum capacity with over 400 dogs, leading Tia to open satellite locations in rural Louisiana and rely more than ever on her children, their significant others and the parolees to follow in her footsteps and keep the rescue running. This September, PIT BULLS & PAROLEES returns for a seventh season with 25 new episodes and celebrates its 100th episode milestone.
