Biographies:
Leah Franqui hails from Philadelphia and is currently living in Brooklyn, New York. She's tried doing many other things, but always ends up writing instead. She just graduated from Tisch School of the Arts with a Master's Degree in Dramatic Writing. There she was the recipient of the Goldberg Playwrighting Prize and the Sloan Foundation Screenwriting prize. Her work has been read at PlayPenn, Repertorio Español, IATI, Dramatic Theater Question, NYU and Yale University. Among her many talents; actress, theatre critic, screenwriter, seamstress and cook, she writes not one, but three blogs, and takes care of her cat, Cadfael.
Victoria Frings is an actor, writer and producer based in Brooklyn, NY. She made her Broadway debut in An Enemy of the Peopleand followed that up with jobs at the Kennedy Center and the Manhattan Theatre Club, as well as on screen in Sleeping with Other People and Lucy, 4:57PM. Sick of seeing breakdowns for yet another sexy yoga instructor (nudity required), Frings wrote an article for salon.com titled, "Hollywood's Hidden Sexism: How Casting Notices Keep Beauty Standards Alive." Her interest in leveling the playing field inspired Frings to explore dramatic and narrative writing, and to begin producing her own work.
Joseph Pickard is a man of many hats, though in reality he only owns one or two actual hats. After becoming the first film major to graduate from the College of Wooster, Joe spent over two years in Japan where he worked as a hair model (he has exceptionally curly hair) and photographer, and where he started honing his vision as a filmmaker. Joe now resides in Brooklyn where he works as a photographer, cinematographer and director. He has directed commercials for such companies as Netflix, and directed the music video for Eytan and the Embassy's "Everything Changes" which went viral.
