Access Health, a new magazine-style health and wellness series will debut on Wednesday, November 26 at 7:30 a.m. (ET/PT) on Lifetime with its first episode "Mind Over Matter." The series is produced by O2 Media, the leader in branded entertainment and a full-service broadcast media production company based in South Florida. This show will re-air on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 7:30 am (ET/PT) on Lifetime.

Access Health will educate and entertain viewers as it tackles the latest cutting-edge developments and innovations in fitness, medicine and food such as women's and children's health, the best ways to get one's body moving, how to prepare good-tasting and healthy meals, the newest medical practices, and plenty of tips, stats and insights all to empower women and give them access to healthier living.

Ereka Vetrini, TV personality and field host of two TV series on the VERIA LIVING Network, and prior host of live daytime talk show "In the Loop with iVillage" on NBC will host the new half-hour magazine style show, bringing her passions for cooking, family and exercise to her role.

Access Health is unique in that at the top of each 30-minute episode, a topic is presented, and after a roundtable discussion, the three experts, Dave Sinclair, a fitness expert appearing on the cover of more than a dozen fitness magazines worldwide, athlete, and broadcaster; Dr. Dennis Holmes, an internationally renowned cancer researcher and breast surgeon; and Janet Zappala, an acclaimed journalist, six-time Emmy award winner, and nutrition expert will lead their own segment with guests to delve deeper into the subject at hand from the perspective of their own specialty, creating a well-rounded approach to each topic.

In the premiere episode, "Mind Over Matter," the connection between brain and body will be explored with expert guests: Michelle Strange from TePe Oral Health Care, who will talk about the correlation between dental health and overall general health; David Hardy, Founder of Hardy Nutritionals and Dr. Charles Popper, a Harvard Medical School psychiatrist will delve into how specialized nutritional treatments can help reverse mood disorders naturally; and Jonathan Sarmiento from Sports Authority gives tips to viewers to help them get moving.

"We're proud and excited to launch Access Health and add another national platform for us to continue our mission of empowering women. Our show's unique format and tools provide positive solutions across the spectrum of health, fitness, wellness and nutrition. Ereka and our team of passionate experts will inspire our viewers to get fit and lead healthier lives," said Dr. Thomas C. Deters, President and CEO, O2 Media.

Access Health was created by O2 Media, producers of the long-running branded entertainment shows The Balancing Act, Designing Spaces, Mission Makeover, and All Mixed Up all currently airing on Lifetime.
