Rock'n Robin Productions and ABC Radio announced today Robin Roberts' first ever podcast ROBIN ROBERTS: EVERYBODY'S GOT SOMETHING, based on her best-selling book by the same name. The series features conversations with captivating and compelling guests about redemption, recovery, and embracing inner strength after being struck in life by that "something." In each 45 minute episode, listeners will hear first-hand as guests share with Robin their incredible real life challenges that will inspire everyone to face their "somethings" and believe in the power of resilience.

The first three episodes of the seven episode season will be released on September 20th, the 4 year anniversary of Robin's bone marrow transplant which was critical in treating her MDS (myelodysplastic syndrome). The remaining episodes will become available weekly starting October 3 with guests including businessman and author Tony Robbins, Cookie and Magic Johnson, stand-up comedienne Tig Notaro and others. Each episode is available on iTunes, Google Play Music, the ABC News mobile apps, RobinPodcast.com, and ABCNewsPodcasts.com.

"I am thrilled to launch this podcast," said Robin Roberts. "My first job was in radio and it feels like I'm going back to my roots. I now have the chance to extend the conversation with guests beyond their time on GMA and connect [with them] in an intimate setting. These remarkable people share their incredible real life challenges and I hope they will inspire our listeners' to face their "somethings."
"Robin has a unique ability to make the people she's interviewing feel at ease and this format has already led to some truly candid revelations from guests who normally don't speak publicly with such raw emotion," John R. Green, Executive Vice President of Programming, Rock'n Robin Productions

"The best podcasts create an intimacy with their listeners. Robin Roberts' "Everybody's Got Something" represents the highest level of this art form. You will be inspired, humored and deeply moved by the personal stories you hear," Steve Jones, Vice President, ABC Radio

The first three episodes released on Tuesday, September 20th include conversations with:
India Arie: Through her music she has inspired scores of fans to believe in themselves. After losing faith in herself and facing emotional crisis India decided to take a four year break from the music industry. When she sits down with Robin, India shares how she discovered and transformed herself during this time and where she is today.
Giada De Laurentis: She arrived in this country as an immigrant who didn't speak English, and in her formative years struggled with self-confidence. In this very personal conversation, Giada explores how she fought hard to assert herself in life and found out who she really wanted to be, even confessing something she has never shared before.
Delilah: The beloved late night radio host discloses how she keeps her head straight and heart pure as she helps hundreds of thousands of people with everything from finding love to losing faith and hope. In this revealing episode, Delilah explains how she cultivates optimism for herself and others.

The theme song, Everybody's Got Something, is an original composition by Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter India Arie. The lyrics, which are filled with hope and compassion, make it a perfect complement to the podcast.
