TEENAGE girls, Martin and Tomaz gradually realize that their true interest lies in each other. In an abandoned seaside house, secrets are shared, old family wounds are re-opened, and together they grapple with the meanings of friendship and love, and sexual tension in a suddenly adult world.
Former actors turned filmmakers Filipe Matzembacher and Marcio Reolon, who wrote and directed SEASHORE, collaborated seven months with their lead actors to create a rich internal world and nuanced performances. They have crafted a poetic and heartwarming ode to the end of adolescence, gorgeously capturing a time of innocence, uncertainty, and sexual awakening.
SEASHORE world premiered at the prestigious 2015 Berlin FIlm Festival, and has been playing film festivals to critical acclaim since.
