ABC Music Lounge's "Nashville"-inspired docu-web series, "On the Record," is live at www.abc.com/musiclounge with the original songs "Consider Me," co-written by songwriters Ashley Monroe and Brendan Benson, and "I'm a Girl," co-written by Mallory Hope, Shane Stevens and Matthew West. Hayden Panettiere performs both songs as country-music singing sensation Juliette Barnes.
In each installment of this week's web series, "On the Record: Consider Me" and "On the Record: I'm a Girl," fans have the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes with the songs' writers, co-writers and music producer as they discuss their process, and to enjoy intimate interviews with show creator/executive producer CALLIE KHOURI.
"This really feels like a song that Juliette would write for Deacon," said Khouri regarding the soft ballad, "Consider Me."
For the girl anthem "I'm a Girl," music producer Michael Knox shares how he was happy to lend his edge and rock influence to push the song along.
